| The background suppression Y series is placed on a large slotted bracket and attached with the 18mm threaded lens. As the blue corrugated material is being reeled up, the sensor is positioned so that the output will turn on when the roll reaches a predetermined diameter. | • The entire Y series has a universal 18mm threaded lens and threaded side holes for easy installation. | • Each Y series sensor has both a NO and a NC output for simple interfacing to the controller. |
| • Complete line-up of sensors including a long range thru-beam (98ft) for long distance sensing or for use in dirty environments. | • The Y Series includes background suppression models for applications that require detection of low reflective material (ie. flat black targets). |
| • The BGS version is also designed to detect objects with different textures/colors at the same distance and ignore objects in the background. | • The transparent detection models are a good choice for detecting clear material such as film, glass, or PET bottles. |
| • The convergent models are good for detecting round parts with only slight gaps between them. Because they have a narrow beam, they also work well in small part or registration mark detection applications. |
